Mica-insulated band heaters in SS, brass or GI sheath, formed to the exact diameter needed for barrels, dies and nozzles, with holes, notches and cut-outs available to suit any dimension. The mica-core insulation gives strong dielectric strength and fast heat transfer for quicker heat-up and longer heater life, and units can incorporate a built-in thermocouple for more accurate temperature control. Horizontal or vertical post terminals, standard mica-nozzle exits, and high-temperature quick-disconnect plugs are all available, with standard Allen bolt or bent-up flange clamping.
